A huge congratulations go to our Models and Talent who just returned from another phenominal weekend of showcasing at Fusion held at Planet Hollywood this last weekend! With a record breaking amount of callbacks, we continue to draw the attention of agents from LA, NY and Canada! Great job McKenna Models and Talent for great performances! I couldn't be prouder. TV FILM and PRINT: Our Mrs. Nevada-America, April Swartz was great on Fox 5 with Jason Feinberg! Great job by Tayler S. and Allysa W. for landing the " Criss Angel" promotional video..Congrats! The "Absolute Dental" commercial is currently airing on all channels. They booked models all ages, with and without braces!! Copies of the Hudsons catalog have arrived for our models who shot the latest issue! Pick up at office. Congrats and great job done by all the models selected for the conventions in June! Our biggest congratulations go to our oldest Model in our agency...80 year old Herschel C. His face is currently in Fortune, Business Weekly, Forbes, and Time Magazine!! It's never too late to be a Model! FASHION SHOWS : Dillard's fashion show date TBA this week ! Watch on the Workshop Page! Congrats to our models who worked another Eccoci event. You were stunning, as usual. Our Mrs. models were fabulous in the Fashion show for Best Buddy's! We will be holding a Nevada Princess Pageant the same night as our Mrs. Nevada-America Pageant. We will be crowning 3 young ladies ages 5-16 as Nevada Princesses to our new Mrs. Nevada-America 2010!
Our current Mrs. Nevada-America 2009, April Swartz, will be crowning our newest Mrs. Nevada-America 2010 Sunday July 18th at the Texas Station Hotel in the Grand Ballroom. We will also be crowning our 3 Nevada Princesses the same night. Come out and support your favorite contestant. It will be a red carpet event not to be missed!! Tickets available through McKenna Models and Talent office 932.1021. doors open at 6pm.
Sarah R.won Starkydz Grand Supreme for 3-5 year olds, All American Starkyd and Supporting Starkyd this weekend inLaughlin at Starkydz State. Congrats Sarah!
Huge congratulations to Angela Foremaster who just won Miss Nevada America's Outstanding Teen! She is a sweetheart and great role model for teens. We are so very proud of her, and her hard work paid off. Hooorrraaay Angela!!!
Our
next MONTHLY AUDITION for all registered McKenna Models and Talent
will be held Sat. July 24th
Audition Times: All ages from 10am to 11am. If you attend a workshop
that day, no need to arrive at 10m. You will be put on tape right
after class. Check the "Workshop" schedule at the top of
this menu.
Be prepared.
Models and Actors ages 5 and up, please have your "slate"
(introduction) ready
and a commercial memorized to be put on camera.
If you are totally unprepared for any of this, an actors workshop
is a must!!.
Actors Workshops are not just for actors. They are important to teach
you how to Audition!! Contact me...
In
your auditions, if younger than 5, please practice saying Hi, my name
is....
and “I love pepperoni pizza (or whatever your favorite food
is).
Make sure you speak loudly, clearly, and smile!!!
If you are a baby, please come happy and awake! Mom or Dad, you will
hold
your baby and introduce your child, saying their first name, age,
hair and eye
color and clothing size.
Please
don't force your baby to be "wonderful". Sometimes they
are just not in
the mood. They are babies!!
"What
to Wear" to on-camera auditions.
For everyone, wear a solid bright color top. Not low cut...No stripes
or logos.
Doesn't matter what is on the bottom. No hats, or big earrings.
Light makeup, and hair off the face. No makeup on anyone younger than
13.
No phone calls please regarding this audition. If you have a reasonable
